Funny Kid Comment of the Day

Teaching art is a great subject, but because of the 'freedom' of the class (they are able to whisper-chat while they work), I tend to overhear things I wish I didn't. Sometimes they are serious and have to be reported, other times they are just silly and comecial. Most of the time, it is the latter of the two.

Today I heard this conversation between 4th graders (yes...4th!):

"I know how to make bacon. All you do is put a piece of salami in the microwave for 8 seconds. It crisps up. I call it Salami-Bacon!"

....please remind me to never have breakfast at her house. Gag.

  4. Oh my gosh! Too funny!! When I worked at the daycare I was in charge of the "school age" program. (daycare for before and after school, along with summers) I would have some of the funniest conversations with the kids. Especially kindergarten through second grade. They are too funny!! :)
