When in doubt, post pictures.

I found myself going through newborn photos last night. And good Lord, as my friend Jess so kindly reminded me last night that, "newborn pics are for when you're pregnant only. Otherwise? Your ovaries will spontaneously spout eggs."

Hilarious, but its' true. Although I am not ready for another baby, I found my uterus aching a teeny, tiny bit. Where did MY baby go?

Part of me can't even remember when she was this small.

Do they make a tylenol strong enough to cure these aches?

  1. I remember being pregnant w/ Jackson and watching old videos of Trey....from newborn to about 8 months...and I was BAWLING @ the computer screen!!! I have no clue why?!?!?! Hormones...or part of me just MISSED my first BABY!!!

  2. That's so true! Mine's only 2.5 months and I already feel that ache when I look back at her newborn pictures - I can only imagine how much stronger it's going to get as she gets older.

  3. She was so tiny! I asked Peter last night if Kirsten was a baby still or a girl now. This 9+ months stage has been so much fun. And the walking, words, and new ways of interacting that are coming now are so amazing. It just keeps getting better. And P.S. A simple reminder to be thankful for that little uterus and those ovaries of yours that work so well, you need NO Tylenol! :)

  14. HAHAHA! So funny that you posted that.

It's true, though. That's actually how we had Livie. My uterus screamed for months. And it all started when newborn pics. I NEEDED baby smell.

    Now? HAHA on me.

  15. Stopping by via Jess's blog. LOVE that girl!

You are so incredibly generous to send her some maternity clothes!

BTW, I LOVE the pics of your baby girl and my uterus aches A LOT! It took us 6 years to have our baby and I constantly ache for another!
