Wednesday.

-It's important to note that I titled this post "Things for Thursday" until I realized that it was, in fact, only Wednesday. So...yea. Now? My title is clever as can be. I'm good like that. Apparently my brain has thought all week that we have been one day ahead. I hate when that happens.

-So yesterday, you all kind of blew my socks off. It was so fun receiving pictures of you with your print outs of your bucket lists all framed, or seeing them already in your houses! I kind of feel like you all have a little piece of me in your house now. It's not creepy, it's totally heart warming. I love it.

-It was also fun how many of you tweeted me all, "Ohmygosh your bucket list is all over Pinterest!

-On the same note, and then I'll shut up about it (I swear). What if at the end of the season we did a link-up with a highlight, including pictures from your bucket list adventures, and kind of a recap of the fun things you did as a family? If you're interested, tell me. This wouldn't be for a few months (end of November likely).

Switching Gears....

-Tomorrow, I'm going to be doing a giveaway from the fabulous people at Erin Condren (you know, the makers of the Life Planners everyone raves about. And yes, I own one, and yes I will tell you about how it's taken this non-planner to a life-planner. Don't laugh. It's true.) where you'll get a chance a chance to win $25 in free moolah towards their products. It's kind of fun, because in combination with other promotions out there, you can basically get yourself a planner for free. So, um...come back tomorrow.

-We start swim classes back up tomorrow! It's only half hour every week, for six weeks, but let me tell you---I so much love that time in the pool with Eme, and it really is a fun way to break up our week. Let alone, for her to keep learning to swim. She's excited to get back into it. She told me.

-This time, next week, my husband and I will be on our vacation. I'm starting to get a little sad about the idea of leaving Emeline, but she's going to be with my parents, whom she adores--so it really will be fine. Pretty sure we'll be face-timing too. I don't want her to forget me. :)

***

So what's up with you? Does the idea of the link-up down the line interest you? Are you coming back for the Erin Condren giveaway tomorrow?

Happy Thursday Wednesday!

  2. Love the idea of a link up. Printed the bucket list off yesterday and showed it to husband last night. He said " Oh fun, we can certainly do all these things". And yes, I'll be back tomorrow for the EC giveaway. I have a slight obsession with her products.

Also? The linky idea for the bucket list is a great idea! Possibly genius.

  10. I didn't do the printable because I already have 80 gazillion "goal" lists sitting around (or written in my Life Planner...or pinned on board on Pinterest), but I think a link-up would be fun to SEE. There were some really fun ideas on there, and to see them played out would be fun. :)

  13. haha, i was pretty excited for you to see your bucket list on pinterest's popular page. go you!

in honesty, i havent YET printed it out ... i probably will soon. and would have fun linking up at the end of the season.

and lastly, ive seen erin condren planners floating around the blogworld lately ... i checked them out - no doubt theyre awesome. im usually just a Staples planner kinda gal and try to glam it up a bit with my rainbow of sharpies i use every chance i get. but im also a cheapy and cant really justify a life planner purchase ... but maybe, just maybe, i can win your giveaway ...

  18. Don't shoot.. but.. What is the hype over the life planners? I don't quite understand that yet. I just looked it over real quick, they're pretty and all but I guess I don't understand what makes them the best and why they are so expensive?

  20. Last weeks long weekend spoiled me, so all week I've been a day off. What a let down. At least I get Friday off, so I guess today is technically my Thursday? No? Ok then.

I'd be game for a fall link up! I still need to print off the bucket list!

  21. Like the link up idea, but I'm a link up virgin, so you'll have to assist me :)

And yes on the Erin Condren planner!!!!! I went paperless for the first time ever this year and I almost made it 12 months, but it's just not me. So anywhoo...been waiting to order my Erin Condren, so maybe this is why I waited. hint..hint! :)

  27. I hope you have a great trip with your husband! My son is about a month younger than Emeline and I about fell off my chair laughing when you did your post about Emeline's eating...the mandarin oranges. We go through the same thing at just about every meal. He'll try something new and I think "awesome, I'll get some of that at the store" and as soon as I make it the next time...it's now on the list of things he hates! Ahhh!!! Anyway, I'm not sure how long you and your husband are going to be gone, but my husband and I went on vacation for a week in July (just the two of us) and right before we left I started to feel really anxious and sad about leaving. But, I must say, the time away was so wonderful!! No schedules, no wake-up calls early in the morning, etc. Enjoy your time away!!

  28. I love the idea of a link up! I wish that I had the time to really do some of the things on that printable. We have a crazy fall with my work schedule and his law school studying. We have almost no free weekends!
